At our family ranch, we take pride in raising some of the best breed of cows in the industry. Our commitment to quality starts with our breeding program, where we carefully select genetics to ensure healthy and robust cattle. We then raise our cows in plenty of space to roam and graze. The result is a premium beef product that is tender, flavorful, and highly sought after by discerning consumers.
Our Story
Family-Owned Cattle Farm
Seven generations have continually inherited this house and land. When we acquired the family ranch and house we desired to make it a place where our children and future generations could feel the draw to the land and rich family history that started in East Texas. San Augustine is the oldest town in Texas and has hosted many historical figures who were key to the Republic of Texas. It is our desire to make the land thrive as a sustainable farm to raise cattle.

A Medalion House
At the edge of San Augustine, Texas, The Gatling Manor stands as a testament to history, and craftsmanship. Constructed in the late 18th century by George Edward Gatling, who was a Confederate veteran and first cousin of the inventor of the Gatling gun. He rode an ox wagon into San Augustine on the El Camino Real. He was taken by the beauty of East Texas, where he served as county attorney. This home was built of lumber cut from native pine timber. It has changed hands throughout generations until it came to our families' time to become property caretakers. We started renovation in 2011 and have put time, energy, and effort into making this property a part of our family's history. It now serves as the home base for Gatling Enterprises.
